 Rover Oaks Pet Resort recently launched a month-long donation drive, Operation: War Dogs!, to support the United States War Dogs Association (USWDA). The drive officially began on Memorial Day and will culminate on Independence Day, July 4, 2011. Â
Rover Oaks is holding a special event THIS Saturday, July 2, [2:30pm - 4:30pm at Rover Oaks Houston & Katy] to recognize Independence Day and to celebrate everyone’s contribution to Operation: War Dogs!  The festivities will feature special activities including:
~ Pups in patriotic attire (bring your dressed up pup for a prize!)
~ Free goodies from Premium Pet Products
~ Lots of tasty food and refreshments for you and your fur-kids
They will also be giving away a FREE WEEKEND STAY at Rover Oaks, so make sure you plan to attend, and bring your friends!Â
To date, the group has raised 00 for the USWDA and, with your help, they can reach their goal of 00!  These donations will help provide an abundance of critically needed items including K9 medications, food, grooming tools, bedding and other necessities.Â
So grab your pups and join in the fun, while taking a moment to remember what is so special about Independence Day – honoring those who serve and protect our country and freedom!
