We are getting really excited about the Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue Launch Party being held at the posh Rover Oaks Pet Resort’s Houston location on Sunday from 12:30-3:30 p.m.! The group is holding the launch party to celebrate the formation of the new rescue org, but they are also celebrating ALL breeds and the importance of rescue groups! Admission is per individual and per couple and attendees are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends of all breeds, just make sure to bring your updated vaccination records and proof of Bordatella in the past 6 months! The event is co-sponsored by our friends at Texas Dogs and Cats Magazine, as well as the Texas Alaskan Malamute Rescue Association. Rover Oaks Pet Resort is generously donating the space for the event as well as a Rover Pass, valued at up to that can be used towards grooming, boarding, daycare or training!
The event includes BBQ, beer & wine, doggie freestyle dancing, a silent auction, raffle and lots of fun!! Auction items include a Gateway laptop computer, Kindle, GREAT seats to UT football, Texans & Astros games, in home dog training, art, restaurant gift cards, a 0 Best Buy gift card, Oster clippers, crate/doggie basket, cocker spaniel vase, an evening for 2 at Pinot’s Palette, and MORE!! There will also be a great pet photographer on hand to capture pics of you and your pet. So many great things at a great price, for an even greater cause!
