ForRent.com, anchor web site for For Rent Media SolutionsTM and a division of Dominion Enterprises, celebrates pets and apartment living with its “Pet Pads Unleashed” photo contest. The contest asks apartment renters and pet enthusiasts to submit photos showing how their pet is “livin’ wild” in their apartment. The grand prize winner will receive a ,500 cash award, and three finalists will each receive a 0 gift card for a local pet supply store. The winners will be announced on or around May 24, 2010.
To participate, contestants must submit a photo via email to ForRent.com and include the pet’s name, city, state, breed and a brief description of the image. Photos will be posted on the ForRent.com Flickr profile, and an internal review panel will select the top ten entries as semifinalists. Pet lovers can vote for their favorite photo via a survey, and the pet with the most votes will be selected as the grand prize winner. Three finalists will be selected based on the second, third and fourth highest votes and will each receive a 0 gift card for a local pet store.
The contest consists of two phases:
